The President’s Trophy Grade-I 2025, Pakistan’s top departmental cricket competition, is set to begin on 8 January in Karachi. The event will feature nine departmental teams vying for supremacy in a single-league format. The tournament will conclude with a five-day final between the top two teams, scheduled from 8-12 April.

Tournament Format and Prize Money

Eight Matches Per Team

Each team will play eight league matches, competing in nine rounds of cricket. Matches will be staged at HPC Oval Ground, KCCA Stadium, National Bank Stadium, NBP Sports Complex, SBP Sports Complex, and UBL Sports Complex.

Generous Prize Pool

A prize pot of PKR 8 million awaits the winners and runners-up. The champions will receive PKR 5 million, while the runners-up will earn PKR 2.5 million. This financial incentive raises the stakes for all teams.

Teams’ Background

SNGPL, the defending champions, will kickstart their campaign against PTV at the HPC Oval Ground. WAPDA, runners-up in the previous edition, will play KRL at the NBP Sports Complex.
